OK, I'm at the laundromat, using my 3G modem. How do I turn off the offline features of Google Reader? So far, the only reference to "offline" has been about Google Gears.
And to use the mobile version of Reader, I just use a different url (reader.google.com) instead of www.google.com/reader, right?
eta: Well, that does cut down on bandwidth consumed....
I think it's m.google.com/reader or something like that. But on my phone the mobile version pops up automatically.

eta: isn't there some ratio for the size of the TV versus how far away you generally watch it from?
The Vizio is a decent budget brand, but from what I understand they don't have the best record for longevity.
