There were completely unfounded rumors of Apple releasing a tablet computer, but so far the big announcement is that the iPod Nano now has a video camera in it. Which is...weird.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
There isn't already a video camera in the touch? (I had assumed...it seems incorrectly.)
From Macworld's coverage, this made me laugh:
10:29 PT - JS: Fastest growing of iPod line, iPod touch. To date we have now sold over 20 million iPod touch units. In addition to 30 million iPhones Steve talked about. (Wow - 40 percent of all iPhone OS devices sold are iPod touches.)
10:30 PT - DF: OK, by my math, that's >50 million iPhone OS devices. 40% of which hate AT&T. Kidding.
There were also rumors about new iPod touches with cameras having production problems, so maybe they got pulled, and will show up later. You also notice that they announced 8GB, 32GB and 64GB touches, but no 16GB.

Yeah, that was also weird.
I mean, I know Apple isn't releasing a product named "iThing," just to be clear

Of course he's kidding. It's 80%.
AT&T is the #1 reason that I do not have an iPhone.
It was certainly my reason, back when I could afford it.
Yay! I can sync my iTunes library between computers!
That's what I'm looking forward to using.
