Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Steph,
I got an aftermarket solution whereby I got a cable installed in the back of my car stereo that connects to my ipod.
Crutchfield is the place where I bought the kit online. If you are braver than I, you might be able to install it yourself. I paid an installer to do it.
Jessica:
Would this help your dad?
I don't think so, since I have my permissions set to only allow downloads of the original images to logged-in friends & family. (It doesn't look from the description like you have to log in to your Flickr account from within Flump.)
But thanks for looking! I think I'll just send him a DVD with all the pics on it instead.
My dad wants to know if there's a way he can batch download from one of my Flickr sets
Jessica, I found this reference to Flickr downloadr, but I haven't tried it myself.
Someone will be sure to post the iThing news when it happens, yes? I don't have the energy today to follow a liveblog.
Thanks for the flickr links, guys - there doesn't seem to be a way to do it without giving my dad the keys to my account, which I'm not wild about. A DVD is easy enough.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Steve Jobs just crashed Twitter. Shoulda seen that coming.

Not me. I'm just not as excited by the possibility of purchasing new and exciting products from Apple in an attempt to fill the empty void at the center of my soul as I used to be.
So apparently they're putting video cameras in the Nano, but not in the Touch. Wha??
The iThing is what? (I mean, I know Apple isn't releasing a product named "iThing," just to be clear. I just mean, what is the mystery product to which "iThing" refers?)
