Yeah, the fans have very little torque. You could probably even use your finger, though a pencil is less scary.

As for the Mac Store, finally got to watch the video. Um. I dunno, I always thought stores *didn't* use glass, but plexi. Maybe it's just that my family owned liquor stores, so they always had plexi.
It's possible that store might rethink some of its policies.
