That's weird--most of the Apple stores I've been to have the computers locked with cables.That's what I was thinking. Even the iPods were locked down, with the little coily thingies, so you couldn't pull it more than a foot from the display table.

As for the Mac Store, finally got to watch the video. Um. I dunno, I always thought stores *didn't* use glass, but plexi. Maybe it's just that my family owned liquor stores, so they always had plexi.

The thing is, the store had been robbed before. That's why they had a security guard on duty. Except that the security guard didn't do anything once the thieves indicated that they were carrying guns.
