I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I would just isolate and replace the fan.

According to some page on the Internet, I can do that by sticking something into the blades of each fan for a second to see if the noise stops? That's safe?

Typically it's like a $5.00 part.

Is there anything special to consider? I like this one. For fun. Or there are these cheaper ones. I guess I have to see what size the fan is. Do all fans have the ribbon connectors? I guess they need to get the power to run from somewhere.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Yeah, the fans have very little torque. You could probably even use your finger, though a pencil is less scary.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Have people see this video of an Apple store being robbed? The thieves got in and out in under a minute with 23 laptops thanks to the mag-safe power cords:

any photoshop types know how to change the size of the background of the image without changing the rest of the images?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Vortex, all I can think of on the spur of the moment would be to essentially separate the two and then resize the background.

That's weird--most of the Apple stores I've been to have the computers locked with cables.

That's what I was thinking. Even the iPods were locked down, with the little coily thingies, so you couldn't pull it more than a foot from the display table.

Is the background on it's own layer? Can you just resize that layer?

As for the Mac Store, finally got to watch the video. Um. I dunno, I always thought stores *didn't* use glass, but plexi. Maybe it's just that my family owned liquor stores, so they always had plexi.
