What Gud linked to is what I just bought, except I got the less-new one, with the 6 hours battery life instead of 10, or whatever.
I'm going to take it on my trip tomorrow and test it in actual traveling situation. We shall see. But so far in "too lazy to go get my bigger laptop from another room in the house" it's been entirely workable for my rather light web use.
I got the Asus eee 1000HE, and I love it for traveling. I wouldn't want to use it for hours of freelance work or video editing, but for internet, email, and the occasional .doc file it's great. It's also light and got me complements in the Detroit airport.
The slightly smaller keyboard takes a little getting use to, as does the smallish screen. Otherwise, it's fab.
If I have tabs enabled in IE 8 - is there any reason why tabs should not be working?
Huh. So with Android and this, they now have
two
computer OS's.
From my impressions of Windows 7 they will have their work cut out for them. I've only heard good things about Win 7 on netbooks as well. Though MS might shoot itself in the foot by imposing hardware limitations on netbooks that run Win 7.

Folders4Gmail has been updated.
And Better Gmail 2 has the updated version! Life is good again.
can you all explain to me why you need folders4gmail? aren't labels enough?
