Yup, I noticed the Ten and Rose as soon as I read that page. Very amusing.
Okay well when people read the newest Y: The Last Man they have to come here and help me deal with it. I'll postpone my freakout until then.

Who was it that somebody thought was Ethan? The redheaded warlock? (Or was that about a future issue? - because the redhead is clearly not Ethan.)
Oh the funny that my local shop is called "The Comic Bug" because I have caught it again. Once I'm stuck on a serial I start spending way too much money on comics. 'Cause I can just nip down to the store and get me the next issue of Buffy for ...holy crap he didn't charge me. I thought my bill was a little light! Now I feel bad complaining about spending money. I wonder if he realized?
Anyway what I was going to say before I looked at my receipt and realized I got a free comic is that these are so short that I know they leave me twitchy when I turn that last page. So I always use that as an excuse to buy a trade paperback to tide me over to the next issue. Today I got Aliens vs. Predator which I have never read from start to finish. Yay!
Okay, regarding the latest Buffy issue, who caught the Alan Moore reference?
Not I. Is it image or text?
It's text.
I'd quote it in white font for you, but I don't have the issue to hand. Somebody will probably get it before I get a chance to post it.
Maybe it's referencing a book I haven't read. I got the Pink Floyd reference. Does that count for something?
The bit where Giles is explaining the what to Faith and sez
"But according to every augur in my employ, including the great bearded wizard of Northampton...
Hee.
Yep, that's the one, JoeCrow.
I got the old MTV show Aeon Flux on DVD. Man I used to love that show. I think back in the Liquid Television days they only showed a half an episode at a time. Maybe in small doses it was better. Has anybody else tried watching it? I'm 1.5 episodes in and thinking about stopping. It seems purposefully byzantine while lacking in actual plot. Is it just me?
