Fables I'm a bit meh about. I just don't see what all the fuss is about
I felt the exact same way about it. I have friends who think Fables is super-nifty, but ... meh. I kept being distracted by how much better it could have been.
Why couldn't you be dealing drugs like normal people?

You know what? It's the hard-cover version of the trade paper version that came out last January. So, it's actually the comics that came out in 2005. (I was confused.) I thought that they were enjoyable. This is a special edition with extra stuff:

AH! okay! I was confused about why I hadn't heard of a new Serenity series seeing how I spent the last year working in a bookstore that has comics (although it's not a traditional comic book store) owned by Whedon enthusiasts.
