vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Yeah, I agree on the artwork. Do we know if they're planning on a rotating group of artists, or will it be the same folks for the whole run?

The wagon doesn't feel out of place to me. And it wouldn't surprise me if John left what was arguably Mary's car behind. (Or sold it for ammo.) He was also a mechanic, so acquiring a classic muscle car and restoring them to use them to hunt demons probably wouldn't be all that challenging.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

We don't have any canon support for the idea that the Winchesters owned the Impala all along, do we?

Actually, we do. In the pilot, John is sitting on the car as the house burns. It's clearly the Impala, say those who know cars.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Oooh, that standalone looks like it could be a lot of fun!

Art Crawl!!!

I think so too.

The third cover seemed very Frayesque to me.

Hey. New board.

Yeah, it does (both look fun and seem very Frayesque).

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I went to the link and said "damn. Alien vs. Predator is a really interesting standalone. I don't know what to think about this....oh."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Anybody see Maakies on Adult Swim last night? It was excellent. I missed the incredible architectural detail of Millionaire's drawings, but it was a completely undiluted transfer of his world. Emmett laughed his head off and declared it "Very disturbing!"

You know what I love about YouTube? You can find all those odd little animation pilots that never got off the ground. Amazing Screw On Head is gorgeous steampunk, and funny. You can find the Peter Bagge animation for Hate (kinda sucky) and there's an incredible Japanese animation of one of Jim Woodring's Frank strip.

There are also the original Maakies shorts that were done for SNL.

I've seen a DVD of that offered for sale on ebay.

An animated version of Jef Czekaj's "Grampa and Julie: Shark Hunters" has been in development for what feels like years now. Last I heard, the pilot was done.

Maakies is sitting on my DVR. I'll watch it tonight.

Nickelodeon, right?
