Now tagless for your comfort.

Julie, I think the Ruaways Saga that brenda talks about a couple posts back is a catch-up for Runaways. I think.

Yes, it is. Although it's in the form of a diary of an 11 year old girl so some of the context is lost. I bought it and enjoyed it. I have some vague idea of what's happened before but I also am researching characters a bit more online, too.

This is kind of "inside comics" but I've been giggling about it since Monday and it's only getting funnier now.

My favorite part lately is this bit from Harlan Ellison

if–like Ms. MacDonald–anyone chooses (sanely) to stay out of the way of this schoolyard brawl between Groth and me…to be evenhanded and as objective as one can be–like Ms. McDonald–when the combatants are two schmucks–as am me and Groth–but he more than I, of course, whaddaya think, I’m gonna be as fair as Ms. MacDonald, wakeup fer chrissakes, I’m SUING the guy

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

So despite attempts to draw it out, I've caught up to Buffy. Man, I've missed these guys. SO MUCH. I don't have a lot more coherent than that, though I agree that Andrew wasn't very recognizable . (not sure if that needs whitefont...)

Supernatural is taunting me, but I am resisting. Gotta string it out, make it last.

Man, I can't be addicted to comics already, can I?1?

Heh. I've socialized with Heidi MacDonald, Gary Groth and Harlan Ellison.

What is even happening?

I have Runaways #25 and #26, a burning oost to read, very little willpower and zero backstory.

I have Runaways #26. Did Joss start writing with #25? My comic shop was busy, because of FCBD. The kids got Legion, Spider-Man, and Transformers. Scott bought a Mad Magazine book. I got the free BSG #0, which is a flip book with The Lone Ranger. I finally picked up my BtVS S8 #3, too (and got one of the variant covers -- which is Willow and Xander assembling a giant Buffy puzzle. Now, I'm off for my seven minutes in heaven, with it.
