Also, regarding Supernatural Origins: okay, so Funnel Cake (see LJ for explanation) might require a patch or two of re-write if I'm going to sync it up with the comic canon. But, DUDE. OMG, so worth it if it does, because I am FLAILING with ASSCAPS over Missouri. FLAILING!!! I... DUDE! They MASSIVELY increased her agency here. It's like they took everything I loved about her, but also looked at the areas where I had misgivings (where she was a touch too close to the Mammy trope for my comfort) and decided to do something about it. FLAIL! FLAIL!!! YES!!!!!!!! Ahem. Oh, dude, JOHN! And the back up, oh, PUMPKINS. Boys, boys, boys... you are so screwed already. And, DAMN.

There was no Supernatural Origins at my shop! They only had 4 reserved in the shop but they got a lot of mail order requests they didn't expect so it's on my pull list and should be in on Friday (but, of course, I'll be in Atlanta).
Seriously, I was NOT expecting to be this impressed. But right now, I totally want to get some scans and make icons.

Don't forget the stakes flying toward all those blooming flowers. Though the symbolism of lillies rather than roses or tulips is pure Joss love-is-pain .
