I'd been holding out a vague hope for DragonCon, but odds are not looking good. Unless, say, 3/4ths of the crowd stays home. That would help.
I'm eyeing Rose City CC, which is in September, in light of the cancellations being made.

Huh. DC comics took advantage of the COVID shutdown to suddenly break Diamond Comics 25-year monopoly on comics distribution.

I had a sneaking suspicion when Random House created their own graphic novel division and were carrying already carrying a lot of DC kids graphic novels and titles.
I know a lot of retailers are upset about this, but Diamond has always sucked pretty hard for retailers, right?

This has been an issue since I worked at Fantagraphics. But the bigger issue is that back in the 80s there was more than one distributor so there were options. When it all collapsed down to Diamond's monopoly that's when it got problematic.
