Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Man, counting tonight's, I am 3 episodes behind. I gotta remedy that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Young Justice is only second to the Winchesters for me in terms of feels--the amount of crying it provokes in me is...great.

Is Tim/Cassie Sandsmark in the comics?

Tom, not as far as I know. Although now I'm wondering if I missed something. (Plus, I haven't read the comics in a while. New 52 Teen Titans may have them together.)

Was there a new episode yesterday? There's nothing on iTunes for me to download yet.

Also, The CW has started showing Justice League Unlimited on Saturday mornings. I am very happy.

I love JLU so much. Not least because it has more strong women characters doing badass things than just about any other show I can share with Matilda.

And Clancy Brown! And the cognitive dissonance of Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash (TWO LUTHORS WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?).

The YJ fandom is already calling it “Wonderbird” .

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Damn it, YJ, making me watery-eyed.

I have to say, considering they didn't know whether or not they were making the season finale or the series finale, I think this episode did a great job of serving both roles.

I did have to laugh a bit at Greg Weisman giving himself a cameo, with Snapper Carr running monitor duty during the big mission.

Re the new couple, I have no clue what's going on in the New 52, but Weisman has repeatedly said Earth 16 is its own thing and he hasn't been following the New 52 at all.

Pre New 52 Cassie and Conner were a couple but that doesn't work as well in YJ because of the change in time line, plus Conner's relationship with M'gann. My reaction to it was pretty much "Oh, okay."

I love JLU so much. Not least because it has more strong women characters doing badass things than just about any other show I can share with Matilda.

Yeah. You can't beat JLU number-wise. Korra may win quality-wise, though. (I love JLU, but Lin Bei Fong beats out any leaguers, hands down, IMO. And Korra herself is no slouch.)

And Clancy Brown! And the cognitive dissonance of Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash (TWO LUTHORS WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?).

Hah. There's an episode in YJ Season 1 where Clancy Brown voices King Faraday and my first thought was "Why is Luthor there in disguise?"

So there WAS a new YJ yesterday? iTunes is giving me no love.

Yes, the series finale was yesterday.

Of course, CN in their infinite wisdom aired a promo during yesterday's episode advertising "Next week on DC Nation, new Green Lantern and new Young Justice." Um, no there's not, because you cancelled it, you twits.
