GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Just finished the whole thing.

It definitely wasn't quite as good after the Reach Arc (It looks like they had a guest writer for a few issues afterward, and they didn't do the characters very well at all.) The new fulltime writer seemed to have a better idea of who the characters were supposed to be and the final few issues were pretty good.

"I'm Paco. And I will beat you with this stick until you get the #@!# off my planet."

That was great. I also liked the follow-up in a later issue with him asking Jaime if he needs to go get his "alien-beating stick".

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yeah, it kind of peaked there, although it still wasn't bad.

Also, Paco's mom is hilarious. But I would defintely rather have Jaime's mom if given a choice between the two of them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How much of this did John Rogers write?

I'd have to dig my issues out. Not a ton, I don't think.

Relatedly, the new epsiode of YJ is downloading right now. Woo! But we're leaving in a bit to go see Les Miz, so I'll have to watch it tonight.

Quick glance- He co-wrote the first 10 with Giffens, then was solo through book 25 (with I think 3 off for other writers) and then was a revolving door of writers for the next 5 issues, followed by Matthew Sturges for the last 5.

Cereal:

Watched Young Justice today.

Wow, The Reach is just making everyone look like idiots. They could really use Batman right now.

Of course, I'm not sure how smart/savvy Captain Atom is supposed to be. My only familiarity with him is from the JLU show and the jokey JLI comics.

ETA: I can't believe I almost forgot. Mal rocks !

So when I said "not a ton," what I meant was "listen to Kalshane."

It helps I just finished reading them and could quickly bring them up on my computer.

YJ:

Yikes! Psimon. I have a bad feeling that not only is he going to discover Kaldur and Artemis are double agents, but he's going to reprogram him as a triple agent.

I'm also rather skeptical of the Green Beetle. His appearance seems rather convenient.

ETA: I just saw that the Green Beetle's real name is B’aars O’ohm. Cute.
