GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Marvel Captain Marvel or DC Captain Marvel? (Not that I'm reading either, at the moment.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Marvel Captain Marvel. Well, Ms. Marvel, I guess, but as she's a freakin' Air Force Major, I'm not entirely sure what's appropriate. [link] I'm loving the historical women pilot story lines in recent issues.

I liked Ms. Marvel on Avengers: EMH, but I haven't read any of the comics with her in it.

Just read BB #16 and that's one of the most fun comic books I've read in awhile. (I believe Steph or somebody linked to the "porsche wish" page back in the day, because I remembered it, but it was still awesome.)

Say "I wish for a porche!" before it wears off!

That was the one with the dentist bit, right? And again, PACO FOREVER.

Yes. That whole bit was great.

Just finished the Reach arc. That was totally awesome.

"Hi. We haven't met. I'm Brenda."

"I'm Paco. And I will beat you with this stick until you get the #@!# off my planet."

That was my computer wallpaper at home and work for YEARS. I love Brenda and Paco that much.

Just finished the whole thing.

It definitely wasn't quite as good after the Reach Arc (It looks like they had a guest writer for a few issues afterward, and they didn't do the characters very well at all.) The new fulltime writer seemed to have a better idea of who the characters were supposed to be and the final few issues were pretty good.

"I'm Paco. And I will beat you with this stick until you get the #@!# off my planet."

That was great. I also liked the follow-up in a later issue with him asking Jaime if he needs to go get his "alien-beating stick".

Yeah, it kind of peaked there, although it still wasn't bad.

Also, Paco's mom is hilarious. But I would defintely rather have Jaime's mom if given a choice between the two of them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How much of this did John Rogers write?
