Heh. This requirement leaves me RIGHT OUT:
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel.
Tactful, I ain't. That's why I'm an editor.
Discussion of comics, graphic novels, and more. Except for capes. No capes!
Please use spoiler font for new releases until after the weekend following release.

I notice that tactful isn't a requirement for dealing with writers and artists. Hence Gail Simone finding out she was fired by e-mail.
I finished re-watching YJ Season 1 and I have to say that as great as Season 2 is, I wish we'd gotten see more of the Season 1 team.
Of course, with the way things are looking now for the show's future, the show probably wouldn't have made it to the Season 2 timeline without the time skip, and I'll take the existing Season 2 over an imagined one that picked up immediately after Season 1 if only one could exist.
So I heard there was a lot of fan rage regarding what was happening to Spider-Man and found some spoilers...
Wow, am I glad I don't read comics anymore. I'd be pretty pissed, too. Hell, I'm still a little pissed.
White font for those interested: Doc Ock swaps bodies with Peter, then Peter in Ock's body dies of cancer. They're relaunching the book as Superior Spider-Man, with Ock!Spidey as the protagonist.
WUT. I thought only DC could inspire such rage in me.
I'm sure it's nothing that Mephisto can't fix.
...What.
Teppy speaks for me: that is some serious DC-level shit.
It's mind-boggling. I certainly don't agree with sending the guy death threats, but how can anyone think this is a remotely good idea?
As a part of a storyline that eventually gets resolved, I think it makes for an interesting idea. But with what they came up with, there's no good solution. The storyline itself is going to enrage fans, it's ridiculously unfair to the character, and it's one of those things that screams for a retcon (which will likely happen the instant someone else takes over the book) which ends up turning the whole thing into a giant stunt that further divides the fanbase.
Plus, it now means that Peter Parker is dead in both of the major universes.
