It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Teppy speaks for me: that is some serious DC-level shit.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

It's mind-boggling. I certainly don't agree with sending the guy death threats, but how can anyone think this is a remotely good idea?

As a part of a storyline that eventually gets resolved, I think it makes for an interesting idea. But with what they came up with, there's no good solution. The storyline itself is going to enrage fans, it's ridiculously unfair to the character, and it's one of those things that screams for a retcon (which will likely happen the instant someone else takes over the book) which ends up turning the whole thing into a giant stunt that further divides the fanbase.

Plus, it now means that Peter Parker is dead in both of the major universes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You might be chomping at the bit with the most amazing narrative that will revolutionise the medium, freak everyone's Spidey-pants off, etc, but on the other hand, there's a fair amount of "known quantity" that your readers are showing up for.

Years after the hit Nickelodeon series ended, we're finally going to find out what happened to Zuko's mother.

Gail Simone unfired from Batgirl.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Huh. I'm surprised, to put it mildly. But really happy for her.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wow, does this mean some of the higher-ups at DC actually have some shame?

So apparently Fite n' Maad from the Young Justice comic were originally supposed to be called Nukk n' Futz.

Can't imagine why DC put the kibosh on that.
