"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Does anyone know what's happening in this picture?

She looks like she's being extruded from a tube of ointment.

I'm friends with her on FB! Maybe I should ask.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Neil Gaiman is writing a Sandman prequel.

With J.H. Williams art, no less!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. I realise I'd kinda thought that was done--I was done. There might be little inbetweens, but nothing real.

My god, there's more! We get more!

SOOO glad I gave myself the Gaiman & Moore exemption when I swore an eternal embargo on buying DC comics.

Comic Con animation for DC Nation Block: short of Catwoman in 1930s Shanghai.

Looks a lot like Korra, actually. I love the way they used her whip for the animation.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I just finished The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Century: 2009, and I'm a little "meh" about it. The parody/commentary of making Harry Potter the Antichrist was more heavy-handed than I expect from Alan Moore. But I will forgive everything because Mary Poppins shows up, and she's essentially the Supreme Being. Which not only makes perfect sense to me, but made me make squeaky noises of glee while I was reading it.
