Mike Allred?
Right? Though I'd love for Joss to slip in a Madman reference.

I just read the first issue of Planetary.
This is gonna be good.
You have no idea. Also, don't skip the Crossing Worlds volume - it's worth it for the Batman story alone. I'd say anytime after volume 2 is good on that one.
Yep, that's what the guy at my comic book store recommended too.
Young Justice did a pretty thorough job of implying that Roy is a junkie, without actually violating any network S&Ps.
I totally have to iTunes this show. Maybe on vacation. One of Tim's nieces is a college senior (next year, but I think her junior year is over) who is double majoring in physics and philosophy (just because) and has gotten way into comics. We could geek out on YJ episodes on vacation.
(She apparently had to ask for extensions on several of her final papers because she got sucked into Doctor Who and, you know, time got away from her. [pun slightly intended] Hand to god. She is totally a Buffista spirit baby. She's awesome with a side of kick-ass.)
Who exactly is the target market for the Vibe shorts? Those give me quite painful flashbacks.
It was perhaps a too-perfectly executed parody. “Curse your dopeness, Vibe!”
Yeah, that was way too much an actual prior idea of entertainment for me to be able to laugh at it. It was just pain.
Has anyone read any Thrillbent comics. I'm curious about what computers have to bring to reading comics. John Rogers is espousing this as a so simple it's revolutionary sort of thing. It's a bit more tailored to computers than any of the digital comics I've bought from DC so far--the one that I read (Luther) made prety simple, limited use of displaying parts of the page sequentially.
Decent comic, too.
