Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who exactly is the target market for the Vibe shorts? Those give me quite painful flashbacks.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

It was perhaps a too-perfectly executed parody. “Curse your dopeness, Vibe!”

Yeah, that was way too much an actual prior idea of entertainment for me to be able to laugh at it. It was just pain.

Has anyone read any Thrillbent comics. I'm curious about what computers have to bring to reading comics. John Rogers is espousing this as a so simple it's revolutionary sort of thing. It's a bit more tailored to computers than any of the digital comics I've bought from DC so far--the one that I read (Luther) made prety simple, limited use of displaying parts of the page sequentially.

Decent comic, too.

I know he's a huge name in comics, so bearing that in mind, are these standard prices for "real" originals?

Couple Buffistae collect original comic art (Glamcookie? Scola? Jon B.? Kat?). They'd know better.

I think those prices are higher than most but he's better regarded as a "fine artist" than a lot of comic artists.

Not the Kat I'm thinking about, right?

I mean, I was just wondering if it could ever be anything I did, but I chose a very dispiriting person to start looking at. There is a gorgeous Havok on his site, but I'm assuming it's the size of a postage stamp and done in pencil, because it's not a gazillion dollars. And I'm not sure why it's on his commissions page, because it's already drawn and priced.

It did start with a really broken Black Widow. Oy. Womenfolk.

I could just stick to fanartists...

I think so. I vaguely remember looking at that page with Pete a while ago, and Pete not batting an eye at the prices listed.

I guess I'll just keep hanging "photos by ita !" for a while longer. Very reasonably priced.

I still boggle when I think about how much Pete's originals for Magic: the Gathering sell for. He's not charging above market for them, but it still is kinda odd to me.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Finally saw this week's Young Justice last night. At first I thought the DVR screwed up and cut off the beginning of the episode, but it was just a short.

I personally think this was the weakest episode of the new season, which isn't to say it was bad so much as how great this season has been so far.

That said, there was still some good stuff, and wow is the scarab bloodthirsty. I also liked the Long Shadow callback to JLU. Same voice actor, too. I wouldn't be surprised if whatever the kids get used for results in Ty being able to become a giant. I also thought I recognized Chakotay's voice for Maurice and it was.

Alpha Squad's mission was okay, and I did enjoy seeing the female team members in action and the relationship between them. Plus, Batgirl flusterring Nightwing. And Cassie is definitely being shown as new to the hero gig.
