GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Thanks for the explanation. I knew DC had hired Rob Liefield. Thought he might be to blame.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Ahahahahaha!!!!!

No, you can tell it wasn't Liefeld because the hands are actually drawn properly.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. Our cartooning teacher that came out to work with the kids taught them that drawing hands and feet was really hard and if all else failed, make them stand behind a rock. And then he'd drawn something on the whiteboard that only had one arm, and was getting ready to erase it when the kids asserted that he needed to complete her other arm before he could erase her, so he put her standing behind a giant rock. Cartoonists are funny.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

All else fails, learn to draw fucking hands and feet. Hands, especially can set the entire tone for a picture. Don't wimp out.

Ah. Right. There also is a lack of tiny pouches on Red Hood's costume. That should have tipped me off as well.

Hands are a PITA to draw. I don't recall having a lot of trouble with feet back when I was drawing regularly, but now that I think about it, I rarely drew anything where feet were in the frame, so I may have been subconciously avoiding them.

Yeah, he told them to draw a million hands and feet, that they'd learn.

The fanartists that are making me plotz the most do amazing things with hands. Cafe De Labeill is a million times more talented than Liefeld, for fucks sake.

Speaking of talent: Phil Noto's real end to Catwoman #1.

I love his tumblr. He's incredibly talented, and seems cool with a good sense of humour. I'd recommend it, if you travel those waters.

Glad Young Justice is back on. Still too used to the DCAU voices, though. Slimy Lex Luthor really felt wrong after all the years of Clancy Brown's smooth rumbling malice.
