Please tell me there's a judged costume contest and they took the grand prize?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read DC's promo of all their reboot comics, and everything sounds remarkably....OK. I mean, you can't tell Superman's going to be emo, or single, or both parents are dead. But there isn't anything that says "Wow, I'm glad they're doing this."

From my conversation with the store owner, I still haven't found anyone pro-reboot, even second hand.

Art Crawl!!!

It's an astonishingly bad move on the part of DC. What were they thinking?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Is it on dccomics. com?

What were they thinking?

My guess? That the current (pre-reboot) status of the characters who are traditionally thought of as the JLA is SO screwed up that that have no chance of making a series of movies that could lead into a JLA movie, like Marvel did with the Avengers.

It's paper. Comic length.

Ah. Perhaps I should get my butt to the comic store more than once every couple of months.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Bah.

Judge rules in favor of Marvel in suit brought by Jack Kirby's heirs.
