Discussion of comics, graphic novels, and more. Except for capes. No capes!
Please use spoiler font for new releases until after the weekend following release.
Comic-Con panel (obviously spoilery) talks about, among other Bat-Things, what Babs' age will be in Batgirl, what Jason Todd's damn hair color will be and the future of Stephanie Brown: [link]
I mostly say Feh, except for Jason's hair color.
Are we whitefonting stuff about the DC reboot, once it's been reported? I can't remember.
More Superman stuff (spoilery): [link] I am utterly boggled. No Jonathan and Martha? No flight? (Well, at first, I guess.) And that short cape is appalling. If they're going to go with the Superboy t-shirt-and-jeans look, then ditch the fucking cape. It looks like it came from a kid's Halloween costume.
God. I am That Fanboygirl.

That is a pretty great picture, indeed.
Please tell me there's a judged costume contest and they took the grand prize?
I read DC's promo of all their reboot comics, and everything sounds remarkably....OK. I mean, you can't tell Superman's going to be emo, or single, or both parents are dead. But there isn't anything that says "Wow, I'm glad they're doing this."
From my conversation with the store owner, I still haven't found anyone pro-reboot, even second hand.
