How did Arsenal lose an arm? Did his friends pull it off for science knowing it would grow back?
He lost his arm during Cry For Justice, but before his daughter was killed in the explosion that leveled his city. Prometheus cut his arm off, IIRC, and was behind the explosion (and, hence, death of Arsenal's daughter).
Yes, Rise of Arsenal is definitely one I've seen cited as worst ever.
It's possible Cry For Justice was "worst ever" until Rise of Arsenal came along (because it was after Cry For Justice; in fact, I think CFJ existed just to set up the Arsenal bullshit).
Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 will be written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by relative newcomer Kenneth Rocafort. In it, Jason Todd finds himself as a leader of a team of antiheroes – including "Green Arrow's rejected sidekick Arsenal and Starfire, a former prisoner of intergalactic war."
So many ginger jokes, so little time.
New Teen Titans. Not happy about Wonder Girl, because it seems like we're losing Dick's great pasts with many women now.
Tim's costume looks amazing, but WHO is he?
New Teen Titans.
What the actual FUCK. Uh, yeah, I'm out. I guess I need to find some indie comics.
(That said, given all my Tim/Kon love, it really does look like Superboy and Red Robin are on a gay pride float.)
I would read MANY of those if they were real.
I love the Green Lantern Flipbook.
Wow, DC's bringing in Liefield?! So 52 is definitely too many books.
So I just argued that Babs wasn't a fridging anymore because Oracle turned out too cool. Is that a supportable stance, you think? I mean, they might have paralysed her to get angst for the big boys, but they took an established character in her own right, and five years later, she was even cooler. So it kinda worked against what the fail they might have intended.
