Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am unutterably pissed at people who say that Hispanic != white, and the idea that Bane can't be played by a white guy because he was born in a Latin country strikes me as wanting a reason to be upset at Hollywood. There are plenty of good reasons. Choose your battles.

Also, travel more, or at least look at pictures. There's no picture of Bane I've seen that Hardy can't pull off, unless you're talking insane bulk. But that's comics for you.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yeah, there was this whole period in Gotham Knights where Bane thought that Thomas Wayne was his father, and it got pretty absurd. So it stuck in my mind and I knew Wikipedia or one of the other sites would have a write up.

Akira, for ex.

If that site reflects anything like IO9 does, River will win. She apparently trumps all.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

She's winning so far, but they're pretty neck & neck. I...can't bring myself to get worked up about it either way.

I love the degree of insanity that Joss has frothed up when it comes to Browncoats, and I love how much people hate that.

It's win win for me.

However, I think one-on-one I'd give the edge to River, just because she's designed that way. Team on team, I'd give the edge to Buffy, because team is her strength.

Question is, can they both beat an integrated Echo?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I give the edge to River on account of I think she has something like spider-sense. Does integrated Echo have psychic powers?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is such nerd-bait, but Buffy's the strongest by far.

Echo has the advantage of calling on a variety of skill sets, so she's probably the most adaptable.

River has the big edge in sense things and anticipate patterns and movement. Which, frankly, I think would be the most important if you dropped all of them off in a squash court with hunting knives and only one could leave.

If they were dropped in the wild, or behind enemy lines in a city then Echo would be the clear winner.

No weapons and a closed space? Buffy.

So does Buffy, but I gave her the edge because of the healy plus actual powers thing. Her punches are just gonna land harder when they land, and she could take being punched by other superstrong bad guys.
