Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That is awesome ita!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

That is really amazingly cool.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wow, that is really awesome indeed. Wait till that gets on a shirt.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Much to my surprise I see no mention of the upcoming Transmetropolitan Art Book. The quick rundown;

  • It's a hardcover book being produced through Kickstarter.
  • It's for charity, primarily the CBLDF.
  • It's all new artwork produced by a wide variety of artists (me included). A partial list of artists is at the link below.
  • Contrary to a misleading article, it's not a collection of con sketches.
  • There's just over two weeks to donate. A $55 donation gets you the hardcover edition. A $79 donation gets you the slip-cased edition.

The link is here.

I'm looking forward to it, so pardon the blatant advertising. I wanted to make sure you guys knew of it too.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just spent the last 40 minutes painting a Lego minifigure to look like Deadpool at Owen's request.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

So is anyone else watching Young Justice?

I thought last week's episode was kind of meh, whereas I enjoyed this week's quite a bit. Except for Sportsmaster. Really? Casey Jones was laughable enough as a good guy. (Yes, I'm sure the Sportsmaster character has decades of history, or whatever, but he's still silly.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm watching. I'm still a little annoyed about how boy-centric the show is. (Where's Dinah? I was promised Dinah!). I think I've guessed the plot twist about Artemis even before they've introduced the character. (speculation: she's a Terra-like mole planted by The Light ) If it's true, then that won't help matters either.
