Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm watching. I'm still a little annoyed about how boy-centric the show is. (Where's Dinah? I was promised Dinah!). I think I've guessed the plot twist about Artemis even before they've introduced the character. (speculation: she's a Terra-like mole planted by The Light ) If it's true, then that won't help matters either.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, I just read a tumblr post that amongst others did the following Batfamily casting:

  • Matt Bomer as Dick
  • Gillian Anderson as Babs
  • John Hamm as Bruce
  • Matt Cohen as Jason
  • Alona Tal as Steph

Matt as Dick! I'm having hairgasms.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's some pretty good casting. Hamm definitely has the chin for it. And Gillian as Babs should make Ple's head spin.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Hadn't heard that bit, but I agree. I do like Miss Martian, though I'm going to quickly tire of her "Duh, Megan" if it becomes her catchphrase.

As for your speculation, I certainly hope not. Though it would explain why they created a new character instead of just making her Arrowette.

I have to say, though I miss Connor and Tim, I am amused by Dick and Wally.

Glad Superboy was a lot less angsty this episode. Hopefully that trend continues. (That said, I can understand it, since he didn't have the nicest upbringing, and Superman [understandably] was just weirded out by the whole thing and more or less rejected him.) I just don't need to see alernating between moping and growling at people all the time.

Set of Charles Atlas parodies.

Young Justice: Superman is a dick.

He is. On the other hand, I think I'd be freaked out if I learned there was a teenage clone of me, too.

That said, I'm not a superhero and any clone of mine is unlikely to have earth-shattering powers, so really Superman needs to suck it up and make sure the kid doesn't go supervillain.

All in all, I really enjoyed this episode. Even angsty Superboy is growing on me. I love that Dick continues to bust Wally's chops and all he can say in response is "Dude?" I also loved that Miss Martian grew a bunch of extra arms to deal with the robo-monkeys and it freaked everyone else out and she didn't really get why.

I think the show is really starting to hit it's stride. After we finished watching the episode, my girlfriend lamented the fact we have to wait a week for another one.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It is true. I did give it a less than three on Tumblr.

Although if she could do an American accent, Karen Gillan as Babs would send me straight to my bunk where I would NEVER EVER EVER LEAVE.
