To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

So, we had some friends over the other day, and a friend of a friend came with, whom we'd met before, but didn't know well.

She saw our DVD collection, and asked if we were "Buffy" fans. We replied enthusiastically, and chatted about the show for a moment. Then she asked if we had heard Joss was going to do a "Season 8" in comics, to which I promptly fetched it from the other room.

The delight was palpable, and she promptly spent the next fifteen minutes or so engrossed in it.

It's so nice to see the joy people get seeing their girl again.

The Buffy comics have certainly helped cement Joss as being able to use comics to tell a story and it be highly profitable. I'm not surprised the run has been extended to 50 issues (4 years!).
