Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Just watched Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. It was pretty good. I miss the style/voices of the TV series, but it was still very enjoyable. I can also see where the storyline originally would have worked as a bridge between the JL and JLU series.

It wasn't bad, although I couldn't decide if the analogues (Owlman and a woman with dark brown straight hair who wears black and yellow and is involved with Owlman) were knowing nods to Watchmen or just plagarism.

Wikipedia says Owlman and Superwoman date back to 1964.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think it was the other way around, actually.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yeah, Watchmen was based on a bunch of characters that they eventually didn't let Alan Moore use directly. Rorschach was The Question for example (and closer to Ditko's original version - scary Randian tendencies and all - as opposed to the 80s re-run).

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I learned that here.

Eeeenteresting.

Owlman's nihilism was very Moore-ish, I thought, so it's cool how these things inform and affect each other.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

There's a superhero called Mole Man?
