Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Concur. It was just a well written show.

Plus? Kick-ass theme song.

Teen Titans Go! (Puffy AmiYumi kicks ass in general.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah. Wondie needed a shrug in the 90s, obviously.

Man, why couldn't the Perez reboot stick? I loved that reboot.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My new favorite Wonder Woman headline relating to her costume change: Wonder Woman Has Decided to Cosplay as 90s Superboy.

I don't know why people think spandex leggings, a bustier and a cropped leather jacket is less trashy than her classic costume.

Besides, we've seen enough variations on her classic costume to know that you can easily bend it towards something a lot more like - you know - a Greek warrior in greaves and a sassy leather battle skirt in the Hoplite manner.

Oh well. It's not Electric Blue Superman.

Probably because it's not a strapless swimsuit. Never underestimate not having to wax.

He added, “What woman only wears only one outfit for 60-plus years?”

Oh, for reals?

I hate the idea of her not being raised an Amazon. Back to the Perez reboot I loved so much--she was so delightfully alien. Not female Superman.

On the other hand... Rejected WW Origin Stories

hwæt

And how many times has DC destroyed Themiscyra at this point? For some reason, that bothers me more than anything else.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Someone on LJ Dreamwidth referred to it as fridging a whole island.
