Okay: this is a fundraiser to do a comics in the classroom thing. Which is cool by itself. They have met their fundraising goal (but more wouldn't hurt, if the goodies appeal). Mostly, I want to share this because if you like Troy McClure, you'll love Josh Elder. And he deserves props for his delivery. I've watched the video four times now just for the giggles:
Other Media 2: It's Astounishing!
Discussion of comics, graphic novels, and more. Except for capes. No capes!
Please use spoiler font for new releases until after the weekend following release.
I DO like Troy McClure, and now I love Josh Elder! I am seriously considering buying that book now even though the only artist I recognize is Jill Thompson.
And done! Thanks for the link, Strega. Looks like a fun project.
Angsty superhero sculpture. It's basically three guys, sculpted three ways. He doesn't have a wide view of vulnerability. Although he's good, technically. I really like Batman.

I guess I'm going to pick up The Tick, and maybe DC Kids. Not too much else looks interesting to me, though.
I want Kill Shakespeare.
Tom, those are the only ones I'm interested in, too. Which is sad, because last year I had a hard time choosing, even counting the ones that The Boy could get.
I'm assuming Iron Man/Thor isn't what it sounds like.
I didn't see Kill Shakespeare on the list, but if it's available, I'll get it.
Pssssst. Shakespeare is already dead. Don't let the funny books fool you.
I'm going for The Tick, Atomic Robo, and maybe Iron Man/Thor since I haven't read any Matt Fraction. But I'm with Steph; there aren't too many others I'm even interested in. The Sixth Gun looks interesting, but I haven't heard anything about it.
I haven't read any Matt Fraction
Gasp. You didn't read Rex Mantooth?
