I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sue has knocked the Hulk out cold before. But she was also able to overpower Jean Grey when they first dredged her up out of Jamaica Bay and she was flinging Reed and the Avengers around like yo-yos.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I don't know if I can get worked up about Twilight's identity.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I managed to get myself spoiled for that, despite not reading the title. Huh.

But what I don't get is why use the proper noun Twilight in vampire fiction right now.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just read the latest Buffy and...what? Huh? Ooooookay.

Guess the two series are well and truly severed, unless there's another twist coming. Which is OK since I'll probably be dropping Angel entirely now that Willingham's writing it, but completely frells with the series 6 stuff Joss had a hand in.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

JMS will be writing Action Comics and Wonder Woman

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I went looking for Y: The Last Man in my library today, and it's shelved in Non-Fiction. They have a whole complicated rationale behind it, but it seems to be basically about keeping it away from the kids.

(Note: I obviously haven't read it, so avoiding big spoilers would be nice.)

What other comics do they have shelved there?

I really need to finish that run. I forget where I stopped reading.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A few issues of Spiderman. Some stuff I didn't recognize. Almost all of the X-Men, Justice League, etc. stuff is shelved in the Teen section.

Graphic novels are in the 741.5 section, yeah. Or they're in the Teen Zone.

Booooo! Well, it's Vertigo, I guess, so.
