Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yeah that is one of the few ways I thought the movie improved on the graphic novel. Always had problems with Squidzilla.

I think you're clear on killer squid.

Also, Rosebud is a sled, and Darth Vader is whatsisname's father.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Haven't seen the movie yet. Will probably add it to the Netflix queue.

Still sorting through how I feel about it. It's a bit of a let-down, really. You've got all these characters and a building mystery and suddenly it's "Whoops, most of the characters are dead via giant squid and the bad guy wins because actually doing anything about it would likely destroy the world, so lets dye our hair blond and rump like bunnies in another part of the country. "

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I love the ending, psychic space squid and all. And I love that the bad guy gets to monologue AND go through with his evil plan. It's just so obvious - why don't the villains always press the button before the superheroes arrive?

I did like that part. What, you thought I was explaining my plan BEFORE I carried it out? Hah! That and him repeatedly smacking Rorschach around mid-monologue. I don't know, I think I like the concept behind the ending more than the execution.

Again, I think overall it's very good, I'm just not sure I actually liked it yet.

Side note, having seen JLU first, I couldn't help hearing Rorschach's dialogue in Jeffrey Combs' voice.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
