I have to admit, Kevin Conroy is more Batman to me than Christian Bale is. If only they could have had his voice dubbed over for the last movie...
Or at the very least have him give Bale some lessons on how to make Batman and Bruce Wayne sound like different people without making the audience laugh/cringe/rub at their throats.
I have to wonder if concession soda sales were up during showings of the Dark Knight. If they offered Halls, they might have made a killing.
It's not bad, but nothing really stands out about it either.
There were a lot of decapitations.
I'll watch JL and JLU. I'm excited to get to those, since I've heard such great things about them.
It might be a silly little thing, but I love the opening credits and the music that plays over the opening.
The S:TAS opening credits and music are nothing compared to the B:TAS opening credits and music.
I think the opening credits for B: TAS and S: TAS both do a good job of setting the mood for their respective shows. The Superman music, while not quite as evocative as the original Superman theme from the movies, still comes across very well, IMO.
The problem is Batman is just cooler than Superman.
Side note, did you watch "Mask of the Phantasm" during your B:TAS viewing, P-C? If not, you really should. It's excellent. The other two Batman animated movies, Sub-Zero and Mystery of the Batwoman are easily skippable (Which is sad for the former because they did such a good job with Mr. Freeze in the series itself) though not necessarily bad.

This is, indeed, the problem. I'm sort of getting tired of all the frickin' aliens on this show. Batman had much more grounded villains.

I watched it a couple weeks ago, and, yeah, it was really good! I had no idea it was more of a flashback-y story.

I have the former on DVD to watch at some point.
I don't like Superman's voice. I hope the one in JL is better.
But but but.. Tim Daly!
He's one of the big draws for me with the show!
I have nothing against Tim Daly! But the voice doesn't feel right to me. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I want him to sound a little more powerful?
Ed Hannigan cover for the Wolverine Weapon X 100 project. I like how he even includes an apology.
