The problem is Batman is just cooler than Superman.
This is, indeed, the problem. I'm sort of getting tired of all the frickin' aliens on this show. Batman had much more grounded villains.
Side note, did you watch "Mask of the Phantasm" during your B:TAS viewing, P-C? If not, you really should. It's excellent.
I watched it a couple weeks ago, and, yeah, it was really good! I had no idea it was more of a flashback-y story.
The other two Batman animated movies, Sub-Zero and Mystery of the Batwoman are easily skippable (Which is sad for the former because they did such a good job with Mr. Freeze in the series itself) though not necessarily bad.
I have the former on DVD to watch at some point.
I don't like Superman's voice. I hope the one in JL is better.

He's one of the big draws for me with the show!
I have nothing against Tim Daly! But the voice doesn't feel right to me. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I want him to sound a little more powerful?
I love Tim Daly with a mighty loving, but his voice is too recognizable as Tim Daly! for me when he's being Superman.
Okay, I did like his Bizarro voice and was glad he did it. That was a good episode.
