Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Edited to actually answer Teppy...

But it could be a fakeout, too. Or Joss might EXPECT us to think it's a fakeout, and therefore write it as a double-fakeout, which would mean that it IS Angel or Spike. OR it could be a TRIPLE-fakeout....

All of which is making me think....Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me!

Punishingly Intricate

if anyone is having difficulty finding a copy let me know and I can grab one by this weekend

We have what seems to be a good pile at the store where I work on Saturdays so, likewise, let me know. Or, get it yourself here!

I had the choice and picked the dragon cover too!

Our group's biggest topic of discussion was about

who was Amy's "boyfriend". Can't be vampire or demon, right? If he was down in the pit? My (crack-addled) guess was Oz. Wolfed-out Oz (since the army people seem to be horrified by him). I haven't figured out how wolfed-out Oz could make use of a weapons lab yet though.

My friend said about the thricewise's power is to triple what is wished for. Maybe by Dawn? Or, maybe if the guy was had an Amazon fetish by him?

Cindy, I read mine too fast, too.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, you guys, I am just SO HAPPY to have new Buffy stories in my world. I just sat and looked at the cover for several minutes yesterday before I could even open it and begin reading. Xander is her watcher! How perfect. I loved that. Giant Dawn is amusing, though I'm sorry that she and Buffy are still having trouble talking to each other -- not surprised, just sorry. I was totally surprised and pleased by the Amy reveal, and all the nerdly bits just made me squeak with love. Buffy! You're back! Man. SO HAPPY.

What is even happening?

Teppy, I already love you too much. Don't make me love you too much more.

Kate, I feel exactly the same way.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I teared up when I opened up Buffy. Sitting at the stoplight waiting for it to turn green. Just seeing her again. Fuck, have I missed her.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I picked up two copies, one with each cover, because I couldn't decide. My store has a ton if anyone needs me to send them one.

I forgot to ask about alternate covers. I think I'll have to go back tomorrow and see if they've got any of the dragon covers left (I got the Buffy cover, which is fine, but I like the thought of a dragon.)

Sail, the dragon cover isn't photo-realistic(ish), like the Buffy-alone one is. It's much more a "drawn" cover. FYI.

Oh, that's fine with me. It all depends on my mood anytime I get a comic as to which one I prefer. I alternated back and forth a lot with the old Buffy comics as to which one I bought.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

So the overprint was blown through, faster than they expected, and they are doing a new cover from the reprint. Or altered cover, or something.
