Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I read "Lost Girls". I think I didn't like it. It felt like Moore was channeling the ickiest parts of Manara.

It’s a sad, horrible and strangely endless day in the history of the universe. In some ways, every day will now be Death Of NEXTWAVE Day. For as long as you live. Whether you know what I’m talking about or not. Something will always be missing from your heart, and that constant incompleteness will drain the joy from every single moment of your existence until you lay on your death bed, listening to your pulse stutter and stop, knowing that somehow, someway... you failed at life.

Knowing that nothing in the world had been right since Death Of NEXTWAVE Day.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Because the artist's pay rate is more than the title can afford. And the writer won't do it without the artist.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Brian K. Vaughan and his pregnant wife were in our Baby Care class last night. Leave it to DW to spot him! No, we didn't bug him, but I did check the class register to verify that it was him and yes, it was.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Anybody reading Locke and Key, or King City or the other comics featured here?

They sound intriguing.

I've been intrigued by Air but haven't checked it out. I'm even more intrigued now.

I read the original Resurrection trade and thought it was pretty cool, but I wasn't really impressed with the first issue of the new series and didn't keep up with it.

Air is amazing: original fantasy concepts, intricate plot, a great lead character, richly detailed art, etc. It's got just about everything I like in a comic. I also recommend the OGN Cairo by the same team (G. Willow Wilson and M.K. Perker).

I read the first issue of King City and thought it was kind of fun.
