Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Did you get anything from the Superhero Supply Store, Rio?

Are you ready to be strong?

Yes it was a benefit. No, I didn't get anything from the store, sadly.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That is sad! But awesome stuff, Ms. Rio.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gotham gets cutesy.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dork Tower is using reader entries on an empty cartoon. I LOVE Thursday's (which takes some liberties with the last panel): [link]

Here's a link to the Joss interview, which I think you have to pay to listen to, but the $ goes to a great cause.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Modern World, part 2 is out this week, which means that he's finally finished with the Cartoon History of the Universe project that he started 30 years ago.

Truly one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of comics.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Modern World, part 2 is out this week

Yaaaaay! I LOVE those things! I've bought every one of these as soon as they were printed. For ... 30 years? Really? Yikes.

That's how long ago he stared working on the project. The first volumes came out as individual comic books, and volumes 1-7 were collected as a trade paperback in 1990. Gonick's original editor at Doubleday was Jackie Onassis.
