I didn't really like how it changed the visibility of vampires, as it were. It comes out of nowhere that apparently everyone loves real-undead vampires and will love to watch them on TV and be their friend. That doesn't seem to fit with anything that we've seen before on the show or in the comic. It would be amusing if it were an AU, but it looks like it's supposed to be canon.

Yeah, it took the too-public visibility of demons from later seasons of Angel (which already rankled for me) and ran wild with it. I've not been liking the last few stories they've run.

Am I the only one who REALLY loved the current Buffy comic?
I liked it, but it completely severs any ties it might have had with Angel season 6, given that Buffy's LA is only demon-y rather than completely hellish.
As a one shot, I have to give it props for the humor. But Jane E. always brought the humor.
I love the background ultra-cartoonish stuff this artist does, as well. I'm thinking of the background with centaur-Dawn, Willow and Xander suddenly having a horse come on the scene.

Frank, I more than half suspect that LA didn't get sucked into Hell, but rather just the folks with contracts at Wolfram & Hart did and the surroundings changed to look familiar to them.

Yeah, they've made a few comments that have indicated that not all is what's seen, including the psychic fish contacting his friends in Vegas, who had no idea what he was talking about when he told them about LA being in Hell.
Also, the BtVS stuff is set at LEAST a year after the angel stuff.
