Don't love the artwork, but the dialogue's pretty spot on - I was pretty much won over, actually, despite being a bit dubious initially.
I like what they've done with it. The Spike four issue mini was pretty good too.
As for the latest Buffy, all I will say is that I really enjoyed
the trip back to high school
too.

I forgot this week was new Buffy and Angel! Good thing I'm heading to the west side of town, I can pick those up today.

So has anyone else heard about an Angel: Smile Time comic coming out? Because it's in Newbury Comic's new releases list this week. And not a one shot - it's listed as issue #1.
Hmmm.

My e-mail says it's a three-parter. Basically, a comic version of the episode. I don't think it's intended to be part of the current "After the Fall" storyline.

Wow, that sounds really...unnecessary.

Supposedly the sales for the Spike: Smile Time comic were so good that an adaptation of the original story was thought it would to fans of the first miniseries.

I need to call my comic shop and let them know that I really truly mean to pick up my comics. (Money and weather are making that problematic.)

There'll also be a three-part adaptation of "Not Fade Away," starting in April.

Am I the only one who REALLY loved the current Buffy comic?
Harmony as a reality TV star? And CLEM!!!!
Awesome.
