"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Oh yeah, well I'm the Thing, idol of millions."

"Avengers Assemble!"

"It's clobberin' time!"

"Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm totally going to have to look into the heretofore unknown to me, Blue Beetle.

There are 3 trade paperbacks out now, and it's possible that your local library has them. t /Blue Beetle pimp and fangirl

Compassionately intolerant

Fantastic. And my favorite library has them!

"Oh yeah, well I'm the Thing, idol of millions."

Also excellent.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Buffy: I know they've been hinting at it (and I pretty much saw it coming in this issue, I would have been much more surprised for it to be Dru ), but I'm so disappointed about the Willow reveal at the end. I know Joss likes to bring the pain, but I think Buffy has had enough pain down these lines in her life and we've already seen Dark!Willow as Big Bad once and I don't have an over-whelming urge to see it again.

I'm also sad that Giles is apparently going to die at "The Battle of Starbucks" whatever that may be, because I think he deserves more dignity than that (as amusing as the name is).

I'm kind of hoping for the ultimate result of this storyline is that the Fray future doesn't happen even though I love the Fray comics.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Finally caught up to the new Buffy and can I say HOLEEE SHIT!?! I did not see that coming. I think I've been focusing so much on the development of other characters that I've been ignoring what's going on with Willow. And, yeah, it makes me sad that they went that way, again.

I am curious as to who the "last girl is who got transformed." In "Fray" we all get the impression it was Buffy that was the last slayer. At least, I did. But, from what Melaka says, she hasn't figured that out from the Watcher's Diaries and considering she knows who Buffy is supposed to be, it would indicate otherwise. So, is it Buffy or not?

Also, is there any connection between Future!Willow and Twilight? It's a lame connection, but as Xander said, real flames aren't green, so it's magic. And then we see the future demon encased in green by Willow. So, is all magic indicated with the use of green this or that or is it peculiar to Willow?

Most of all, I'ma use "Boy, the English language is just losing it. I should have treated it better." as my tagline after this weekend.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee, yeah, I liked that line, SailAweigh. It made the futurespeak a little less irritating.

Man, I'm confused. I thought the that the reveal at the end was Willow, until I read the letters page, which made me think it was Dru. But it is Willow, right?

Geez, I've got to get my Buffy! I'm dying to know what all the hub-ub is, Bub. Think I'll take a long lunch tomorrow...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Jars, It was Willow. But they were trying to consciously mislead people into thinking it was Dru. And funnily enough, I accidentally had run my cursor over a spoiler before reading the issue, and had only seen the word "Drusilla," so I thought it was her.
