If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

The guest appearance of the old "What The?" characters, including Forbush Man, put it over the top for me.

If it weren't for NextWave & Planetary there's so much I wouldn't know about superhero comics. Damn that Ellis.

Another random proclamation because I'm running on 4 hours of sleep: any best-of-2006 lists that don't mention Casanova should be viewed with suspicion. And narrowed eyes.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Powers is great. Y the Last Man has replaced it as my must read immediately comic, though.

Look at the page I just bought the GF for her b-day!!!! [link]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Lucky GF!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like 52 too. Unlike Lost, I believe they have a plan. Well, they have a finite span, and they have to end up where the rest of the comics picked up 6 months ago. Isn't shattering any Earths, but I like it.

Morrison's run on Doom Patrol was some of my favourite work of his. I despise what he did to the X-Men, though.

Without a plan, it turns out, a lot of decisions are really hard. Eliot might actually hate his shrink. Yes, Eliot is getting healthier or whatever, but at what cost? He used to be a mess of scar tissue and substance abuse, but he could get dressed in the morning without an existential crisis.

Okay, 'fess up: who added the "capes" bit to the thread slug?

Cracked me up, it did.

Though Batman will kick your ass if you try to take away his cape. (The real truth about Batman's cape? He think his ass looks big in the Batsuit, but the cape covers it.)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I liked 52 but I couldn't keep up so had to stop it.

Hey, are they likely to collect 52? In one book or in several?

And Jodi Picoult is going to write Wonder Woman?
