Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Libkitty is one of the most generous people ever. She was an unsung hero in the NOLA F2F--despite the fact that she couldn't come herself, she sent us a huge check to help out when we were short.

In short, libkitty=sweeter than apple pie.

The accolades are great, but are you sure I sent a check to NOLA F2F? I don't remember that.

I guess that means that if I'm sweet, I'm also really forgetful. :)

I know we don't usually use emoticons here, but it was just crying for a smiley. And edited because my brain is mush and I have completely forgotten all html.

Oh crap. It wasn't you? ND handled the money. I may be misremembering. Maybe it was someone else and I'm a big dummy. (I was more than a little overwhelmed with my life at that point, so please forgive me.)

Well you're still cool!

No worries. Given the past week, it's entirely possible that I did, and just lost my mind. On the bright side, my conference is over. One of the sessions I did went pretty good, the other was great, if I do say so myself. More importantly, there were no major snafus (including with food, which I was organizing). I could sleep for a week now, but alas, I have to go to work in the morning.

I know, this should probably go in Natter, but I don't even know how far behind I am there.

I have a new theory about my slacker Santa. I think they are trying to set a new Buffista record for the latest gift arrival.

So, go you!

I'm kidding! :: shakes wee fist! ::

And my Santee sent me a funny encouraging card, thanks Amy!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think they are trying to set a new Buffista record for the latest gift arrival.

They will have to compete with my slacker santa, then.

They will have some hard work to do with my Santa last year. Although it totally wasn't her fault, the PO lost the package ( shakes fist ), but she gave me a lovely shawl at the F2F, which totally made up for it.

Hmm, I guess it doesn't count, since she actually did send it on time, I just didn't receive it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Vortex, I was just thinking sadly about that first package, and the really cool necklace I'd picked up at a craft show that was in it. Not to mention Shawl #1, and other nice things. Shawl #2 was way more elaborate, though, and significantly nicer yarn, too.

Anyway, speaking of late but worthy Secret Santa gifts, mine ARRIVED last night! And it was a nice heavy box, too, with many many wrapped things that I stopped to admire! Meditation Balls! Knitting Calendar! Finding Nemo! Raspberry dressing! Monkey clips! And wrapped up really nicely, four boxes of Tastee Kakes! :-)

Clearly, JenP studied hard. :-) Thank you, Sekrit Santa! It may be late, but it was right on target.
