What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think they are trying to set a new Buffista record for the latest gift arrival.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think they are trying to set a new Buffista record for the latest gift arrival.

They will have to compete with my slacker santa, then.

They will have some hard work to do with my Santa last year. Although it totally wasn't her fault, the PO lost the package ( shakes fist ), but she gave me a lovely shawl at the F2F, which totally made up for it.

Hmm, I guess it doesn't count, since she actually did send it on time, I just didn't receive it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Vortex, I was just thinking sadly about that first package, and the really cool necklace I'd picked up at a craft show that was in it. Not to mention Shawl #1, and other nice things. Shawl #2 was way more elaborate, though, and significantly nicer yarn, too.

Anyway, speaking of late but worthy Secret Santa gifts, mine ARRIVED last night! And it was a nice heavy box, too, with many many wrapped things that I stopped to admire! Meditation Balls! Knitting Calendar! Finding Nemo! Raspberry dressing! Monkey clips! And wrapped up really nicely, four boxes of Tastee Kakes! :-)

Clearly, JenP studied hard. :-) Thank you, Sekrit Santa! It may be late, but it was right on target.

Oh, good - I'm glad you liked the assortment. I couldn't find the One True Gift (I don't even know what it was supposed to be, but it never made itself known to me in my various shopping adventures), so I went for a mix that I hoped you'd like, and I'm glad you did!

(Still... sorry for the lateness)

I'm so not in a position to cast aspersions on a late gift, you know? And it's all so very neat....

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'm officially over my slacker santa. Lovely Laga just sent me a gift box with funny and chocolate and cute in it!

I got a little plush rhinoceros, a bunny shaped lip pop and a beanie-headed M&M guy filled with ... well, it's empty now.

Thanks Laga!

OMG! I'm being showered with gifts! I have an embarrassment of riches!

Today I came home and found 2 packages! One from Java Cat and one from msbelle!

I don't know how msbelle did it, with all she has going on but she sent me Spice Girls stickers, a pad of neat retro post-its and the coolest little binder made from circuit boards! Oh, and a great 3D card, too, she's awesome!

And then, JavaCat's package was overflowing. There was a Frank Lloyd Wright mouse pad, note cards, pen and a post card, all of which I adore! But, there was also a ONE POUND dark chocolate bar from Trader Joe's! It's Huge! And, some Crissy Field dark chocolate covered cranberries to remind me that this was a xmas present! And Altoids cinnamon chewing gum which I am enjoying right now to keep me from eating all of the ccc's at once! Oh I almost forgot the Beautiful amethyst pendant.

It all too much and too wonderful!
