Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

When I signed up for the slacker secret Santa, I wasn't planning on slacking this much! t hides face in shame Santee, you are not forgotten.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Hey everyone. Since there seems to be a lot of free-floating anxiety in the thread, I'd like to ask a favour.

Can anyone who signed up for the first, non-slacker exchange and HASN'T sent out a gift yet please send me an email (profile addy is fine) letting me know:
- if you need to drop out of the exchange, or
- if you're still in, a rough estimate of when you'll be mailing your gift.

I'll either find a pinch-hit Santa or let your giftee know when they can start stalking the postal worker again.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I am available to pinch hit.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

My seekrit santa is still slacking, but the sweet, kind libkitty just sent me a lovely, thoughtful little gift. Actually, it's two, a pinkish, purple-ish ankle braclet to remind me of summer and lacey snowflake for winter. She rocks!

Aw. I'm blushing. So many buffistas have been there for me; it just seemed like it was my turn to tide you through to the real thing. I have faith that your real seekrit santa will come through with a gift that will make the wait worthwhile.

Libkitty is one of the most generous people ever. She was an unsung hero in the NOLA F2F--despite the fact that she couldn't come herself, she sent us a huge check to help out when we were short.

In short, libkitty=sweeter than apple pie.

The accolades are great, but are you sure I sent a check to NOLA F2F? I don't remember that.

I guess that means that if I'm sweet, I'm also really forgetful. :)

I know we don't usually use emoticons here, but it was just crying for a smiley. And edited because my brain is mush and I have completely forgotten all html.

Oh crap. It wasn't you? ND handled the money. I may be misremembering. Maybe it was someone else and I'm a big dummy. (I was more than a little overwhelmed with my life at that point, so please forgive me.)

Well you're still cool!

No worries. Given the past week, it's entirely possible that I did, and just lost my mind. On the bright side, my conference is over. One of the sessions I did went pretty good, the other was great, if I do say so myself. More importantly, there were no major snafus (including with food, which I was organizing). I could sleep for a week now, but alas, I have to go to work in the morning.

I know, this should probably go in Natter, but I don't even know how far behind I am there.
