Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.
You know, as long as we can keep up with the snuggles, I'm ok with waiting for the gift. I'm sure it will be wonderful when it gets here, and this is kinda nice...
falls asleep, content.

I need a little more blanky...
Um... I haven't sent mine yet, but I will, I promise!
I also haven't recieved, so it is probably karmic justice....
Yeah, I haven't sent either, but I'm waiting for something to arrive so that I can send it. Of course, I could have ordered it earlier, but that's what slacking is all about.
I sent mine out on the 29th, so hopefully it will arrive at the recipient's early this week.
I haven't sent mine out because I saw something online that looked just right (and hopefully the recipent will think it was worth the wait). So I'm waiting for that to get here and as soon as it does everything will be bundled together and taken to the post office.
So, if you have my name and haven't sent anything out yet don't feel bad I'm a slacker santa as well.

What Vortex said...
Beej, is it possible that he wasn't as tired as you thought he was, and therefore he didn't feel the urgency. I mean, if I know someone is worried about me, I'm much more likely to remember to call than if it's a random "call me when you get home"
Vortex, he was way melodramatic about the tired, wobbling around and such. Plus, it was his suggestion to call. I expressed enough concern to suggest he not drive home. I've never done the random call me when you get there thing because I didn't want to come off as the worrying type. And seriously, if he hadn't been all droopy eyed, and it hadn't been raining, and he hadn't left his phone here, it wouldn't even have occured to me to worry at all.
That is the sticking point for me...I feel like my karmic mission today is to just let it go...but I'm not yet succeeding.
