Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Trust my rage

We have until January 6th before we're late!

Here in PR, Jan 6th is the real holiday anyway. Perhaps you are secretly puerto rican and your heritage is causing you to send presents to arrive by that date.

Also, libkitty was my SS last year and I just have to say that it is hard to get something to AK by Christmas. I totally thought I was on time and everything but it still turned out to be late.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Stephanie! Since you're here, I just wanted to thank you again for the Lush goodies. ESPECIALLY since Ellie was so sick and you were so involved with her -- I think if my child were in the hospital, I wouldn't even remember to lock the car door, let alone remember to send a Secret Santa gift to an invisible friend.

So thank you again, not only for the gift itself, but for the thought and effort you put into it when you already had your hands full.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I think the second thing I posted was a spoiler that burned Dana's eyes.

You're lucky I let you stay. You'd never have gotten married to JZ otherwise.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I delurked in TT, though I'm not sure which thread. I think I found TT via MBTV, but I could be wrong. I was defintely posting in WX, and followed people over here. I seem to be posting much less than I did in the beginning, though I'm spending as much time reading the boards as I always have. I guess lurking is my de facto state.

I've always admired your beneficence.

And your new haircut.

Absolutely. And Juneau, while perhaps better than the bush, is much worse than Anchorage or Fairbanks, even though it's closer. I really meant it when I said I wasn't complaining.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have no idea when I started--maybe sometime in 2000? It was during TT, I know. I feel very lucky to have found this cyberjoint to hang out in.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I first started reading the b.org in the fall of 2002. I finally registered in order to be able to use the magic of "read new." It was several months before I delurked, and it took me a while to start posting regularly. Just reading was an extraordinary gift to me during a very bad time.

Thank you...I was lucky I knew you well enough to know you'd like Lush. It was something I could order and let them pack and ship for me.

The week I was in the hospital with Ellie, I was sure this Christmas would just suck but it has turned out to be lots of fun and very relaxing. I've always sort of thought that people who were unwilling to move away from family were a bit weak in some way, but this entire experience has made me appreciate the value of having family close by. I missed them so much while Ellie was hospitalized and they were so wonderful once we got home.
