Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

DJ: which episode of This American Life?

It wasn't so much an episode as Salon TT is where their message board lived.

I always try and remember who was already a buffista before me, and who I remember seeing for the first time. I know Hec, Betsy, ita and Steph were there before me, but I would have sworn Jessica and Erin were too.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Maybe it was 2000 that I came to TT, DJ. I know it was the first couple of months that I worked for KU, but I forget if it was 2000 or 2001.

I think I left KS in Oct 2002, so that would make it...oh, hell I dunno.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

BevDog inspired me to go search and note the following in my profile:

Delurked March 7, 2001 - Buffy 6 on TT, post 1222

FTR, I then double posted at 1232. ahhh, the joys of newbiedom. I too find my old posts annoying.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't find my early posts particularly problematic. Then again, I started posting immediately after "Dead End" aired and my opinions on that subject matter haven't changed in the intervening 6 years.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think the second thing I posted was a spoiler that burned Dana's eyes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think my very first post was thanking Kiba for hosting the Wonderfalls music video to download. I registered just to make that post.

Trust my rage

We have until January 6th before we're late!

Here in PR, Jan 6th is the real holiday anyway. Perhaps you are secretly puerto rican and your heritage is causing you to send presents to arrive by that date.

Also, libkitty was my SS last year and I just have to say that it is hard to get something to AK by Christmas. I totally thought I was on time and everything but it still turned out to be late.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Stephanie! Since you're here, I just wanted to thank you again for the Lush goodies. ESPECIALLY since Ellie was so sick and you were so involved with her -- I think if my child were in the hospital, I wouldn't even remember to lock the car door, let alone remember to send a Secret Santa gift to an invisible friend.

So thank you again, not only for the gift itself, but for the thought and effort you put into it when you already had your hands full.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I think the second thing I posted was a spoiler that burned Dana's eyes.

You're lucky I let you stay. You'd never have gotten married to JZ otherwise.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I delurked in TT, though I'm not sure which thread. I think I found TT via MBTV, but I could be wrong. I was defintely posting in WX, and followed people over here. I seem to be posting much less than I did in the beginning, though I'm spending as much time reading the boards as I always have. I guess lurking is my de facto state.
