Yeah, maybe.

Betty/Henry 4EvAH!!!1!
She should totally drop Walter (who at least is trying, but he just doesn't get her new life) and hook up with Henry! He was dorkily cute at their Halloween sushi lunch, but smoking hawt in that red sweater at the Xmas party.
I started reading romances in 6th grade, and my friends in junior high would mock my reading choice, but it wasn't until high school that I had a teacher do the same. My English teacher junior year would occasionally take the Silhouette book I had on the top of my stack of school books on top of my desk and read a page at random out loud. That didn't bother me so much as the fact that she would fold the front half of the book to the back to do so!!! I hate it when people do that with their own books, and if she wasn't my teacher I would have snatched that book out of her hand and forbade her from ever touching my books again. Instead, I just nicely waited until she was done, then requested she not fold it back next time, but she always did. Grr...
I need to catch up with Ugly Betty. I only ever saw the pilot ep, and even then I missed parts, but I really liked what I saw.

You were too nice. There should be more punching in that story.
The SO is a book-folder. I'm going to buy him one of those bookweight thingies from Levenger to see if I can make him stop. It was fine back when he was all, "Oh, I'm not a reader." But now that I've gotten him into my books (I used LoTR, back in the day) he's all through my library. Woes!

No kidding. And I totally don't get her sister's love of Walter and the fact that she threw away Henry's message. Walter left her! My sister always seems to hold grudges against my exes for much longer than I do.

Heh. This used to be me growing up when I let my Dad read my comics.
"But...don't....you're....hey! Stop that!"
I'm not claiming I'm the queen of keeping my books in virginal pristine condition--I set books facedown if I have to take a pause in reading them, I occasionally dogear my paperbacks if I can't find a bookmark/scrap of paper/remote/sleeping cat to mark my place, and I do fall asleep while reading and sometimes wake up to find the book has been slightly mangled while I dozed. But that whole folding books thing drives me up the wall!
I'm maniacal about not cracking spines. My fairly extensive library has nary a clue that I've ever read any of the books.
I feel a bit like Madam Pinse in the Hogwarts Library.
Ugly Betty: Henry has a beautiful smile. And I've seen the guy who plays Walter around the city, so I kind of want to root for him, but he's like the least likable person on the show! Given that nearly everyone is a villian, that's saying a lot, either about his inability to raise the character over "whiny parasite" or the fact that the writers don't care to write him anything good. (I also caught up with the NYE marathon and watched a bunch last night. His tantrum in the nice restaurant was unacceptable.)
